For federal IT and defense contractors

Federal Contractor AI Advisory

When a solicitation or delivery milestone calls for AI governance and evaluation evidence, we help define the work and organize the documentation behind it. Senior principal consultants lead the engagement directly.

The work, scoped to your evidence

01

Requirements and evidence map

Review the solicitation or project requirements, identify the AI systems in scope, and map required deliverables to available evidence and accountable owners.

02

Governance documentation

AI inventories, roles, risk assessments, oversight policies, and a practical roadmap using applicable NIST AI Risk Management Framework or ISO/IEC 42001 concepts.

03

Testing and evaluation

Support for testing, evaluation, verification, and validation (TEVV) plans and evidence organization. Methods, limitations, missing evidence, and acceptance criteria are made explicit.

04

Security and handoff

AI and software supply-chain security documentation, dependency evidence, and a prioritized gap register scoped to the project. Agree milestones and deliverables before work starts.

From scoping to handoff

  1. 01

    Review requirements

  2. 02

    Agree scope

  3. 03

    Build evidence

  4. 04

    Hand off documentation

Federal memoranda direct agencies; contractor obligations depend on the solicitation, contract, and agency requirements. Support is scoped to those requirements, not a blanket compliance promise. We do not claim certifications, socioeconomic designations, contract awards, or agency approval.

Primary references

  • OMB M-25-21 - Federal use of AI

Agency guidance on AI innovation, governance, and public trust. Applicability to a contractor is assessed through the actual project requirements.

  • OMB M-25-22 - Acquisition of AI

Agency guidance on acquiring AI. We review the solicitation's evidence and documentation needs rather than treating the memorandum as universal contractor certification.

Fixed fee after scoping

Every engagement is a fixed fee, set in writing after a scoping call - never hourly, never a surprise. We agree the deliverables, evidence needed, responsibilities, and schedule before work starts.
